This Old Mill Alpacas sock workshop will help you to learn the basics of knitting the heel, turning the heel and creating the gusset for the sock. Please note that you must be comfortable with increasing and decreasing stitches.
It is important that you knit up to the point of the heel (Figure 3) before the workshop. This will allow you to work on the needed elements during the workshop. If you have any questions while completing Figure 1 or 2, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org .
Recommendations from the sock pattern: Using the Regia sock guide and table (in pattern) you can work these socks using the Regia yarn that gives the following tension: 30 stitches and 42 rows to 10cm (stocking stitch).
Yarn type:Regia 4-ply or other Regia yarns which knit to the stated tension.
Supplies you will need: 2 x 50g balls of Regia yarnSet of 5 x 2mm to 3mm double ended sock needles
